“In Drift” was painted with oil on canvas in 2003 and measures 195×360 cm. The work is the middle image in the large triptych “The Lost Land”, which is also considered Poul Anker Bech’s main work.
The work is owned by Randers Art Museum, together with the other works in the triptych: “Sommernat” and “En vinter lang”. The works are described in several places – e.g. in the book “Det tabte land” by Finn Terman Frederiksen and in an article in the magazine “Kulturmagasinet”. review in Kristeligt Dagblad about the exhibition “The Lost Land” at the Randers Art Museum in 2011.
