“Summer Night” was painted in oil on canvas in 2003. The work is the last image in the large triptych “The Lost Land”, which is also considered Poul Anker Bech’s main work.
The work is owned by Randers Art Museum, along with “In Betrieb” and “Ein Winter lang”. The works are described in several places – e.g. in the book “Das verlorene Land” by Finn Terman Frederiksen and in a review in Kristeligt Dagblad about the exhibition “The Lost Land” at the Randers Art Museum in 2011.
